It will provide supplemental heat to rooms up to 300 square feet. This is a thermostatically controlled blue flame heaters that will heat the room rather than the people in it. Blue flame heaters balance out the heat in the room so that a person stood a long way from the heater will be just as warm as someone stood fairly close to the heater (exactly the opposite effect of the red flamed infrared models). It has a non-adjustable ODS (Oxygen deleption Sensor) that constantly monitors the oxygen level in the room and automatically shuts down the heater if it detects a problem.
